Christmas Wishlist

It's not ranked, but if I were to choose the one I want the most right now would be the kitty. I know it's kinda late to post something like this on the Internet, but here it goes.

Any SNSD album. But I prefer Genie (Korean), because of the costumes and the songs my Child and Etude are in there, The Boys (do I need to say more?), Gee (Japanese), because of the attractive clothes they wear on the cover, and Hoot, because the song Snowy Wish is there, and from its size I could infer that there's something more on it than a CD. Same goes with The Boys.

A very very cute furry little kitten. This alone could make me the happiest person throughout the whole holiday.

Any Detective Conan manga. How loser-ous of me to not have any hard copy Detective Conan manga despite the fact that I'm one of its biggest fans (and it's my number 1 manga)!!!

Any Fullmetal Alchemist manga except volume 12. Yes, I've got volume 12. I bought it as a birthday gift for myself last year.

Any Sherlock Holmes book (or merchandise, but I prefer books). I just want to learn more about Detective Conan's origins.

Any Katekyo Hitman Reborn! manga.

Action figures. I prefer the ones from Detective Conan, Vocaloid (the girls only please), Reborn!, Marvel, etc etc. I prefer the ones that looks like they're in 'action'. You know, those really cool poses they make when they're involved in a battle.

Any fabulous piece of clothing. Those pieces of clothing that can be seen on Forever 21, Zara, Mango, Topshop, Plains and Prints, Kamiseta, Guess, Gap, etc etc. Well actually it doesn't matter on what store it's from, as long as it's unique and cool in its way and I wouldn't look awkward or outdated or jologs once I wear it.

A ball-jointed doll. I prefer the ones with grand clothes.

Doll eye contact lenses. Nope, not the common kind of contact lenses that can be bought on Executive Optical etc etc but the ones that is usually bought online. It could be also bought on malls or somewhere else, but please remember that its size is bigger than the normal ones, or else it wouldn't be called a doll eye contact lens.

Money. Yes, money. Money for buying tickets on Katy Perry's, YTF's, SNSD's, and Boyfriend's concert, money for buying gorgeous clothes and accessories, money for buying manga and anime merchandise, etc etc.

Detachable collar. I can't help it, I'm envious of Tricia - she's got one, and I want one, too!

A pair of Skecher's Shape-Ups. HAHAHAHAHAHA *with that really creepy hysterical voice*

Any nigahiga merchandise. May it be the teehee shirt/s, or the teehee wrist band.

A high quality wig. May it be like the Rapunzel-like brown wig (without that bow please), or a boy-ish Near-like (from Death Note) white wig, as long as it doesn't look cheap and such, that will do.

Face Masks with Designs. If band-aids are now available with checkered patterns and such, face masks are available with various designs as well! I've seen a store with lots of it on Ayala. I prefer designs that are pleasant to my eyes - not too girly and not too boyish (with those really bright graffiti colors). I wasn't able to find any other decent photo of this stuff on the net, so I guess this will do. Not the design, although the one on the farthest right could be acceptable.

Anyway, that's all for my wishlist, I think. I'm very much aware that only about 5-20% of the items on this list would be given to me this Christmas (and tbh that might make me a little bit upset but this is life people in reality are not so generous but oh well), but I think I wouldn't mind it that much (but srsly give me the kitty).

By the way, none the photos used in this post were taken by me; about 20% of them are (c)Tricia Gosingtian. Others were randomly searched through Google.

Edit (December 12, 2011): I was about to name this "Materialistic Edition" since I had an urge to write another list that won't involve concrete stuff that I would like to have this Christmas. I might rant a bit there because of something unpleasant that happened today, but I'll do the best that I can to keep it safe. But in a split second I changed my mind.

120711

This day didn't start off very well but as time passes I've come to appreciate this day more and more.

I woke up at approximately 5:15 AM, with my Mom shouting at me because she's making it a big deal that I'm gonna have them called to school soon (and I should start being punctual again). I played The Boys repeatedly the whole time I got ready for school, and even on my way to school while fantasizing on the four of us dancing it on stage. HAHAHAHAHAHA.

I didn't pay much attention on MAPEH class, since the entire report of the whole class is scanned online, so I spent the time reading The Thief Lord. The same thing happened with Humanities class. Oh yeah, I forgot to pass my t-shirt project. Oh well.

I spent half of the vacant time eating in the school cafeteria. As for the last half hour, I continued reading The Thief Lord. Kasandra (aka KIM) and Cleverlyn sat with us, and I was so into reading I didn't notice the times when they were talking to me, when I thought they were actually talking to Alison. They even had to poke me to get their attention.

I found the quiz on Physics class quite easy, considering that I never bothered to open my notebook to review or even scan my notes. I didn't get the perfect score, though, since everyone was wrong on question number 1. Our teacher left us with the student teacher. When we asked why, she answered, "We're going to dance". Kenneth L and I simultaneously laughed aloud, and my other classmates, after suddenly getting the joke, joined in the laughter

Again, I found English class the best among the classes I had today. As I've said earlier, we were discussing into the deeper parts of the story, like the psychological factors and such. But as usual, my teacher killed it. She never fails to make me amazed by her explanations. I believe there's nothing more I could add. Oh yeah, if you want to read the story, click here.

Our teacher was out on Filipino class, so we've got the student teacher to take care of us. I wasn't really paying much attention since I continued reading The Thief Lord again.

Lunch time was pretty long, since our Math teacher arrived really late for some unknown reasons.

We didn't have classes on Finite Math because our teacher was on Class Adviser mode today. She was scolding her advisory class, so they decided to have an open forum, which took place on our Finite Math period.

We spent Economics time drawing a poster and/or slogan about consumption. Most of us didn't take it seriously; I for one drew something that could come out on 9gag, as well as my other classmates who only made a slogan that says "I wasted the lead of my pencil", which was pretty hilarious.

I rode home while repeatedly playing The Boys just like what I did this morning.

I got to twitter as soon as I can, and tweeted my eldest sister Happy Birthday. My best friends told me to greet her for them, so I did, and she told me to thank them back.

I never had any decent photos with her, so I guess this will do.

Now here comes the funny part/s of my day. My classmate Kenneth D. (who everyone calls Domasian) started writing his Filipino essay on Alison's mini notebook. He doesn't have any idea what to name the protagonist, so he decided to name her Tiffany (since Tiffany's his bias on SNSD). The story's very revealing, considering that it's inspired by a real couple, and when he narrates it to our class we all burst into laughter because the way he writes and narrates it was very hilarious.

When Finite Math period came, we left our bags outside the classroom since we're not gonna have classes anyway. When we came to get our bags, Kenneth D unconsciously left the notebook and he later became really paranoid as soon as he realizes it.

Another funny thing on Kenneth D today was his poster on Economics class. His first draft was about fishes. It has a jellyfish on it, and it says, "Stop consuming the fish, save the jellyfish." I don't really get it but when I read it to my classmates they ended up bursting into laughter so I did, too.

His second draft was another funny one to me, but is left unfinished. He asked me if this was okay, but I only responded in laughter. I then suggested that he should put a cross on it, but I really wasn't serious.

Here's the one he submitted.

But the funniest thing he did for today was the one about his wishlist. If this wishlist of mine is long to you...

...then I guess this would be uhh... longer?

So I guess that's all for this day. Damn, it took me 3 days to write this post 'cause I keep falling asleep during the night whenever I come to write this.

So the camera I brought kinda sucked

I was really planning on using the other one, not the one I brought to school earlier since this one was pretty dysfunctional in a way (it was good at first, and it's got only like 50MB worth of pictures used in the 2GB memory card, but when I opened it after taking like 3 photos, it surprisingly offers me to format it). The other one, though, the 'funtional' one, doesn't have its batteries in it, so I've got to buy some which is pretty hassle at this time.

I was just transferring the photos to my computer but unfortunately it wastes my time since my computer doesn't seem to fully recognize my memory card or such, so out of irritation I decided to format my memory card which removes all the photos in there. But luckily the recent photos I've just taken just now with the decent digital camera was copied so I still have photos to post, thank God.

Here we go with the events that occurred in this day, the 6th of December, 2011.

I started my day by waking up at approximately 5:12 AM (after I got out of bed I immediately asked my mom what time it was), which was pretty early than the usual time I wake up, which is usually around 5:30-5:45 in the morning. Now you can figure out what in the world is a decent-looking high school kid doing outside the school when it's already an hour or so after the supposedly start of class (yes, I'm that tardy, and let me tell you I was never like that before when I was a freshman I was always one of the early birds and such idrk what happened to me lol). And I just realized this whole paragraph was just about me waking up for the day (I couldn't imagine how long this post could take if I keep blabbing).

So yeah, I woke up, made a list of the things I've got to do today, which includes buying stuff from the mall (which guards don't permit high school students to go inside unless it's 5PM but meh I'm in my CAT uniform). Our normal time of dismissal was 4:10 PM but for some reason we don't have Advanced Chemistry classes anymore so our dismissal time became 3:20PM. Since it's the Boys and Girls Week, we have a student teacher in (almost) every subjects, and she told us yesterday we're gonna have ACR classes today, so our dismissal time should be at 4:10PM today, which could be advantageous to me just in case those guards at the mall would be suspicious of me when I get there, and eventually let me in (just like last time) since it's just half an hour left before 5PM or so.

As usual, I came in late at school, and our curriculum chairwoman loses it, so we had our names triple-checked by the school's junior police, and she had us write a letter addressed to the school principal, with a very very long speech about various things that slightly involves with the late issue and such.

I found CAT class pretty fun (not with the laughter part), since we were made to march with our arms stretched for alignment purposes.

We didn't do much at French class; we just copied the words written on the presentation which were French words with their meanings in English. The words were all about food, and we kind of laughed a little when the screen flashes with French words which we considered as funny, like "corn" being "mais", "beef steak" being "bifteck", etc.

For the first time in many weeks, I got myself interested in Physics class. The lesson was very similar to one of our Physics lessons in third year, which involves vectors, SOHCAHTOA, resultants, etc.

English class, I think, is the highlight of my day. One thing I've always loved with seniors' English class with our teacher is that we thoroughly analyze and discuss the events of a story we're instructed to read about. Oh, I love it when she gives the ultimate explanation, it's like we've got the same thoughts, but the only difference is that if I were the one to say it, I might not use the right terms. Well, she is an English teacher.

I didn't do much on Filipino class, and I was seated on the part of the room where I couldn't be seen by my teacher since my other classmates block her vision of me. I spent about 90% of the hour talking to my seatmate about various stuffs like our classmates' behaviors, manga, etc.

Lunch was fun, my classmates had this evil plan to hide their friend's bag, so they did it, until it became a series of hiding each other's bags, and I was there sitting and laughing with Alison, Kainoa, Kenneth L, and others.

Math class made me yawn a bit, which was disrespectful to my teacher.

I spent 80% of CompSci class reading The Thief Lord, which was hiding inside my bag, which seated on my lap. The lesson was pretty easy, but I still have some confusions.

A little before Economics class, my water bottle leaked a whole lot of water from it, which made my bag soaking wet. I had no choice but to go to my locker and bring out my paper bags and put my things there. Now it became a hassle to go to the mall carrying a heavy paper bag which might broke soon.

Economics class ended, and I headed home right after.

The ride home annoyed the hell out of me. The jeep I rode was caught on a traffic jam, and there's this really impatient driver whose got a van at the back of our jeep and he/she repeatedly honked at us, and it was so irritating I almost showed him/her the finger (I was sitting on the back of the jeep). Then I slept a bit, and in the middle of my sleep there's someone who deliberately woke me up. I opened my eyes not to see someone I might know, but someone who asks for money. I was so irritated (mixed with my not-yet-gone-emotions from the honks a while ago) I just glared at her.

So there I finally went home. I found mom cleaning the house who says she found something interesting, so I followed her and there it is - a mountain of old cassette tapes! So ancient.

And here's for the one which was vaguely viewed above. By the way I only took photos of the ones which really left me with vague memories of my early childhood music.

And as soon as I opened Youtube, I saw Ryan Higa's (aka nigahiga's) new video, which totally made my night.

Well, that is all for my day. I'm gonna resume tweeting, reading manga and The Thief Lord, and checking my Facebook.

Tomorrow comes a Fresh Start

It was all thanks to one of my best friends Monique for helping me come to a decision where I would make a blog like her but mines would be different - more photos, less text. Yep, a photo blog, indeed.

You might wonder why I'm going to do it here rather than on tumblr or any other blogging site. This may not be the answer you are hoping to read, but I'm gonna write it anyway. I fear that my blog posts on tumblr won't look organized with all those reblogs and such, and I forgot how to do HTML codes anymore in hopes of making it organized myself, so, yeah, that's pretty much it.

Anyway, my photo blog will *hopefully* start tomorrow. That means I'll start to bring a digital camera with me all day (and I've got to be extra careful on this). I'm just gonna start searching for memory cards so wish me luck!

P.S.

It's been more than two whole years since I last blogged about anything, and I'm no expert in writing, so please excuse my incapability to write.
