Detective Conan Chapter 804 *SPOILER ALERT*

I would've gotten quite disappointed once I find out it's not Black Org related again, but when I finished reading it, I ended up not having the patience to wait for the next one. Yes, it's that interesting. And I read it sometime before the midnight and the lights were turned off, so it gave me extra chills/shiver which made me more hyper.

Wataru Takagi, one of the prominent police officers of the series (alongside Inspector Megure), was seen walking down the city street one night. Yumi Miyamoto (whose name I always forget because she's not much noticeable), Takagi's friend from the traffic department, parked her car beside Takagi to have a little chat with him.

Yumi then teased Takagi by asking if he's gonna spend the night with Miwako Satou, his girlfriend. Yumi does this to Takagi all the time, but he just scratches his head, blushes, and denies it. This time, though, is unusually different. He then became serious, while saying it's not a date in a serious tone like it's implying that such things as dates and stuff are the most irrelevant things in his world.

Truth be told, Takagi's not that kind of a serious person. He's actually the loser-type of person who's always paranoid, very dedicated to his work and very pessimistic about his lovelife. Back at the time when he and Satou were not together yet, he's never thought that he would actually win against Shiratori (a rather high-ranked officer and a bit more classy than him) who's his rival on Satou. You can say he's like that Keitaro Urashima guy from Love Hina.

Now, what could this serious matter be? He even went far as to not tell a word on his girlfriend about it.

Meanwhile at the airport where Takagi is, he's sitting on a chair while waiting for the time when he's expected to get on the plane. While killing time, he took a look on his planner. It seems that on February 7th, he's supposed to "Greet Parents". I immediately thought that those parents would be Miwako's, but it wasn't really specified since it could be his parents as well.

I then turned on to the next page, and I became a little more confident that those parents that Takagi would greet are gonna be Satou's. If you've read the whole chapter, you'll see that there're various hints of Takagi meeting Satou's parents etc etc. Plus, seeing that thing on his planner made him a little bit more sensitive. He then pulled something with complete relevance to the words written on his planner. I sometimes do the same thing, so I guess it's part of human nature. Plus, it's a manga. I'm not saying that he won't cry for his parents, but something about Sato would just give that much greater impact on him.

And lookie here. Takagi crying. Not just the comical cry we normally see on mangas such as when the protagonist was playfully bullied by his home tutor who actually appears to be infant. But the kind of cry where the main character's not in chibi/humor form and the one that would actually make you think that there's something really going on.

By the way, seeing crying is priceless. I know I should feel bad about him, but I can't help not getting amused by things I wouldn't normally see on a character.

Then followed the Detective Boys hanging around the place where they're supposed to meet up with Takagi. As expected, he's not present. The kids then assumed that he's with Satou, but we readers know it wasn't true. They were overheard talking about Takagi and then approached by an old man whose identity is unknown.

This suspicious old man with his suspicious message is worth getting bothered for, but what really got my interest is the bottom part of this page, which, I'm afraid, is of another matter. Yes, it may or may not be related to Black Org that I long for.

So Conan came by and the old man bid farewell. Conan asks who he is, and Mitsuhiko (the smartest from the real kids) answered that he seems to be Takagi's acquaintance. Genta then asked where Haibara is. Conan lied that Professor Agasa caught a cold and he came back with Haibara keeping an eye for him. Black Org matters. But this is not the interesting stuff I told you about earlier.

The this guy suddenly appears, saying it was a shame for him as well.

Now, if he was really Bourbon then he would really want to meet his boss. There were some reliable theories that says Professor Agasa could be the big boss of the Black Org, though I initially imagined that he would be a new different character who's gonna make his debut when the time finally comes.

Now this photo's what tickled my mind the most. So he says that he's got another purpose for coming. If he really is Bourbon (who's been hired to track down Sherry), then that 'other' purpose would be to see Haibara. Now that I think about it, Haibara hasn't met Amuro Tooru before, but I doubt when she does, she might not have the chills she felt when she met Subaru Okiya. I don't know why I decided it to be that way, Amuro just doesn't seem to be a bad person to me. Or maybe because I was stuck to his 'happy-go-lucky impression' on the Fake Nail case.

Anyway, back to the story, so it seems he has other purposes for coming...

And he says that purpose is now gone. I know it's too early to assume, but my best bet would be that his so-called 'purposes' besides the questioning would be Haibara and Professor Agasa. It could also be that suspicious old man we saw earlier, but it doesn't feel like he's on a complete relevance to Amuro Tooru.

Back to the headquarters, Chiba revealed that he saw Takagi being moved to tears while he's looking at a photo booth sticker stuck inside his planner. When he asked if it was Miwako's photo (with or without Takagi, that I do not know), Takagi responded as if Miwako doesn't show any relevance to him at the moment. Another strike for Takagi.

Satou is now seriously bothered by Takagi's peculiar attitude. And his absence to work without telling a thing on her.

And with these surprising turn of events, I began to appreciate this kind of case even though it's not BO-related.

Bakuman Chapter 163 *SPOILER ALERT*

So Niizuma Eiji's Crow, that one manga which ended on a really successful way (and by successful I meant that it ended the way the author wants it to) despite Team Fukuda's efforts to beat its continuous top rankings, has its anime adaptation ending soon. Jump needs to submit another series to have its own anime adaptation soon. Since Eiji's Zombie Gun and Ashirogi Muto's Reversi are both ranking 1st and 2nd (but Reversi's ratings are a little higher), the higher-ups had to choose from these two to be submitted.

Eiji and his editor, Yujiro, both think that it's still too early to have an anime, since Zombie Gun's running for just a few months, so they pretty much turned down the offer.

Yoshihisa Heishi then asked what Hattori says about Reversi becoming an anime. He, too, thinks that Reversi having an anime adaptation is something far off the future. The editor-in-chief then decides to let their editors (and even the respective authors) about it. He figured that there's no point in their discussion if both parties
have equal feelings for the offer.

The offer of having one's manga become an anime has one condition, though. I rather find this a bit confusing, since I'm afraid I might've made the wrong assumptions, but from what I understood, they have to keep the manga going until the end of the anime adaptation of it.

Hattori, Ashirogi Muto's editor, was initially excited about it, but then he took it back, saying "Please let me thinnk about it."

Sudden change of emotions at its finest

He started to think about what Ashirogi Muto aims for in Reversi. They have that kind of obsession on desperately wanting their manga to become an anime, but they specially aimed for Reversi to become their masterpiece - that one manga that can be recognized by everyone, that would be the main pillar of Weekly Shounen Jump, and that one manga which they will have the freedom to end it whenever they like without any outside influences nor having its quality drop. He guessed that Ashirogi might take down the offer despite everything they've been through since the last thing that they would want to do on Reversi is adjusting its plot to make it fitting for the time allotted for them. (I have the habit of unconsciously making long sentences and when I end them I get the feeling that it lost its sense now haha)

He was so preoccupied with it on work that he had to bring it to his bed!

Hattori then decided to tell them and know what they think about it. Despite his efforts to have them as calm as possible when he shares the big big news, Ashirogi Muto still shouted with all their might.

I gotta say that seeing their reactions like this, even though I quite figured out that they would look like this still made me genuinely happy for them. They're just fictional characters, but throughout the times I've read this manga, I've seen all the efforts they made to make this kind of dream come true.

When Mashiro and Takagi finally calmed down, Hattori told them about the conditions and the pros and cons of the decisions they could make.

Fully considering Mashiro's long-awaited promise to Azuki Miho that the two of them would get married once their manga becomes an anime and Azuki will be the voice of the manga's heroine, Takagi decided that there's no way for them not to have an anime by now. Mashiro, on the other hand, says that Reversi's a masterpiece, and nothing should cause it to have its quality drop, not even his own marriage.

Frankly speaking, I agree with Mashiro. Considering the fact that I can't wait to get married to the girl that I want to spend the rest of my life with, Reversi is a different thing. It's not just a manga written by Ashirogi Muto. It's the one manga that will be named as the best work of Ashirogi Muto. Besides, why would they make some modifications that would make its quality drop for the sake of one? Takagi may feel bad for Mashiro, and Mashiro himself would definitely feel bad for another opportunity passing by them, but they're a duo, and it's their manga. Not any self interests would interfere with it.

Hattori, though, was not aware of the promise made by Mashiro and Azuki. He expected Ashirogi Muto to decline the offer since it might have its quality dropped (in favor of Mashiro's opinion), but seeing Takagi fired up (because he wants Mashiro to get married) made a new impression on him.

Saiko then revealed the truth about Takagi's strange behavior. It's about time for Hattori to know about it anyway. After all, they know each other for almost 8 years already.

Hattori finds it pretty hilarious!

Hattori really is the best editor. He introduced a new different kind of logic to Ashirogi Muto that made them both agree to him.

Everything was fine the next day when Hattori told the higher ups that they will do it, but then Yujiro came by with a big big pile of paper...

And that was it. I personally think that out of all the chapters that updated last week (that I read), this manga's latest is so far the most interesting alongside Reborn!'s. Detective Conan's was the most touching by the way.

I don't feel like retelling every story again...

My real aim was not to just share what happened on that particular chapter, but to give more insights/reflections/review/etc on it. But since I'm not so much expressive on words as I want myself to be, I tend to end up just talking about what happened on that chapter (and most of the time the only thing I can do to make it longer was to post screenshots of it). Based on the way I'm doing it, I can consider myself utterly pathetic for it.

So from now on, I'll do what I can to minimize the retelling part and maximize my expression skills. After all, I can't call myself a blogger if I don't have such abilities.

Detective Conan Chapter 803 *SPOILER ALERT*

WARNING: What you're about to read is the LATEST CHAPTER of a hit manga entitled DETECTIVE CONAN. Unless you've read it already or have no plans on reading it ever (which I personally think would be very sad since it's THE BEST MANGA EVER), you cannot read any more than this paragraph. Don't tell me I didn't warn you.

The Detective Boys and the husband were waiting for the operation results, then the doctors came out with the unconscious patient (who can never be disturbed at this time) so they only had the chance to talk to the doctor.

It was successful, thanks to the first aid performed by Conan and the others. I would like to speak some more gratitude for Conan who prevented stupid Genta from taking off the knife from the victim's chest. If he weren't there, then it'll be too late. Not. There's still Haibara. :3

Based on the tears forming at the husband's eyes, we can see that his relief in knowing his wife's gonna be alright was genuine. That's a good sign that he's regretting his actions, and if ever that so-called accident was deliberate, there's a high chance that he doesn't plan to kill her again without fail.

Relief and celebration for the successful operation aside, he still needs to explain himself to the police.

But of course, there'll always be follow-ups to the consequences given to you when you did something.

This guy's pretty predictable. Good thing Conan's really skeptic. Well, he is a detective after all.

Just like any other guilty culprit who doesn't want to be found out doing something really suspicious, he plays dumb. Problem is, the one he attempts to lie to is someone who knows the whole truth.

Conan then explains the meaning of each expression the husband unconsciously shows when certain things are said to him regarding his wife. Now the misconstrued conclusion draws near.

HURRAY FOR LAZY ME

So yeah I say congratulations for the wife who's lucky enough to be spared and have her lifespan grow longer. And she's gonna have a baby yay!!!

Detective Conan Chapter 802 *SPOILER ALERT*

WARNING: What you're about to read is ONE OF THE LATEST CHAPTERS of a hit manga entitled DETECTIVE CONAN. Unless you've read it already or have no plans on reading it ever (which I personally think would be very sad since it's THE BEST MANGA EVER), you cannot read any more than this paragraph. Don't tell me I didn't warn you.

Conan inspects the victim, the wife, and loses his cool when stupid Genta attempts to touch the knife to take it out from the woman's body in hope of making it better.

He yells at the husband, too, but it's no good. He then ordered the others to bring some stuff for first-aid.

Once the things needed are complete, he and the others performed first aid on her while waiting for the ambulance.

With the husband in that sort of state, they wouldn't know the blood type of the wife, which might be a big problem if it won't be known soon, so Haibara again did something awesome.

Thanks to Haibara's yells, the husband finally came to his conscience.

On the hospital, the husband then began to tell his story.

So it seems that his wife wasn't behaving that way when they met...

What a sad marriage. :(

Ayumi doesn't think the husband's saying the truth, though, she still believes that his wife's a good person. Well, what if she's just acting like a good person in front of other people then shows her fangs later on to the person she's living with?

Ayumi starts to cry, but Conan said words that made her stop doing so, which also made Haibara think of Subaru Okiya as well, since he said the exact same words last time. Maybe he's not Bourbon after all.

Or he may be even the real Akai Shuichi, not the one with the scars! Oh Detective Conan, what an interesting anime you are!

As usual, Conan thinks it all doesn't feel right because it went too well. He may be a little too skeptic, but everytime he feels that way, it turns out to be right, so we just have to put up with it. It's a mystery manga after all.

And his skepticism takes him way too far to the point that he would disrespect other people's privacy and read their cellphone messages.

Talk about effective skepticism.

And then Genta sneezes, which gave some more clues to Conan.

So Conan realizes something. And Ai helps him to realize some more...

So it was all according to the husband's plan after all. But how could he deliberately kill his own wife?

I would like to explain more about the unclear parts of this chapter, but I figured that it would be a real pain in the ass so I'm just gonna summarize the whole series when I find time for it. As for now, I'll just put links on those names so you can click on them to get more info. :D
